Rich Noguera is the Chief Information Security Officer at Yapstone, where he leads both Cyber Security and Corporate IT. Working across the Technology and Corporate business units, Information Security strives to protect Yapstone customer data and sensitive information from attack or exposure.
Prior to Yapstone, Rich was Chief Information Security Officer at Gap Inc. While there, Information Security was restructured from its compliance base to include Security Architecture, Security Engineering, Product Security, Strategy & Compliance, and Cyber Defense. While there, Rich established detect and response capabilities for attacks targeting its employee base or its critical systems, across Gap’s global footprint. More, he helped drive modernization of the overall security platform leveraging both best-in-class and legacy technologies. Through his tenure, Information Security was matured such that it was recognized by both the C-suite and Board of Directors as fundamental to all technology efforts.
Rich has been a leader at Accenture, Yahoo!, Symantec, McAfee-Intel, and Deloitte & Touche LLP. He has spent his entire career within the Information Security industry. Within the community, he is a Founding Board member of the Retail Cyber Information Sharing Center (R-CISC), worked with the Information Security Working Group of the Bay Area Council, worked with the APT group of the Bay Area CISO Council, and supports the Hispanic IT Executive Council. Rich is an alum of the University of Southern California and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
